FAKTOR DETERMINAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF (Studi Kasus di Wilayah Kecamatan Ngaliyan Kota Semarang Tahun 2019)

Abstrak

 

Cakupan ASI eksklusif di wilayah  Kecamatan Ngaliyan pada tahun 2017 masih rendah, yaitu  sebesar 32,82%. Cakupan tersebut belum memenuhi target Renstra Kota Semarang sebesar 55%. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan praktik pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah Puskesmas Ngaliyan Kota Semarang.

Penelitian termasuk penelitian observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada 13 Rukun Warga yang terdiri dari 13 posyandu. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan consecutive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah bayi umur 6-9 bulan  yang terdaftar di wilayah Puskesmas Ngaliyan Kota Semarang. Responden adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi 6-9 bulan sebanyak 49 orang.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu, pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang ASI eksklusif, dan dukungan keluarga terhadap praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

 

Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the Ngaliyan District area in 2017 is still low, at 32.82%. The coverage has not met the Semarang City Renstra's target of 55%. The research helps to analyze factors related to the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding assistance in the Ngaliyan Health Center area of Semarang City.

The study was an observational study with a cross sectional study design. The study was conducted on 13 Community Groups consisting of 13 posyandu. How to take samples by consecutive sampling. The population in this study were 6-9 months old infants proposed in the Ngaliyan Health Center area of Semarang City. Respondents are mothers who have babies 6-9 months as many as 49 people.

The results showed a significant relationship between mother's education, mother's occupation, mother's knowledge and attitudes about exclusive breastfeeding, and family support for the practice of exclusive breastfeeding.
