Abstrak

Background: The problem that often arises after the mother gives birth is that there is little milk production. This greatly affects the health of the baby. Efforts to increase the production of breast milk for post partum mothers by doing oxytocin massage and breast care. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of oxytocin massage and breast care when combined. Methods: using a descriptive research design. research that seeks to describe a symptom, event, event that is happening at the present time. Results: This research has been conducted for 6 days with the results of a combination of oxytocin and breast massage can affect the production of breast milk in post partum mothers. In accordance with the results of previous studies. The milk produced increases by 10-15 cc. Conclusion: the combination of oxytocin massage and breast care increases milk production. The production of breast milk produced is influenced by the frequency of postpartum mothers in doing massage, husband's support and the surrounding environment.
