Abstract

Background: COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is a disease caused by a new type of coronavirus, namely Sars-CoV-2, which was first reported in Wuhan China on December 31, 2019. This COVID-19 can cause symptoms respiratory disorders such as fever above 38°C, cough and shortness of breath for the golden man, muscle pain, and diarrhea, covid-19 will be more severe if you have a congenital lung or heart disease. The pronation position in COVID-19 patients is an alternative so that patients with mild-moderate symptoms do not worsen, so that the addition of COVID-19 patients is not followed by additional needs for health facilities and infrastructure, Muhammad (2020).
Objective: This study aims to determine the provision of a pronation position for spo₂ in Covid-19 patients.
Methods : The study used a descriptive method with a case approach to Covid-19 patients who experienced changes in spo₂ from August 2 to September 04, 2021. The instrument used was an observation sheet and used an assessment by interviewing spo measurements using oxygen saturation.
Conclusion: This study proved effective in the pronation position to reduce spo₂
